Watt was a weak and sick boy when he was young, but it didn’t prevent him from being a world famous scientist. Because he was an observer. He enjoyed observing natural phenomena and thinking about their origins. If there was any doubt in his mind, he would try to trace it back to its source.

As Watt was good at observing, he found the phenomena steam makes the lid shake up and down when a tea kettle on the stove. After twenties years investigation, he improved traditional steam engine, making it both faster and safer, promoting the development of industry, making transportation more convenient, inventing by others of the steamship and steam locomotive.

I study at Tianling Primary School No.3. I am 9 years old, I also like observing. Plane can fly in the sky, why I can’t fly? When I visit Shanghai General Motor Pavilion at Shanghai World Expro, I saw a film “go to 2030”. At that time , people will drive their car at the orbit without traffic jam. It’s a good dream, how to change the dream into reality? It need our clever and knowledge. I have to learn math, physics,astronomy,mechanics . Keeping on investigation and working hard like Watt, everything is possible. The dream will come true.
