前言:

GMAT考试的分析写作部分(Analytical Writing Assessment)要求考生在60分钟内写出两篇不同类型的作文(每篇30分钟) :一篇立论作文(Analysis-of- Issue Essay)和一篇驳论作文 (Analysis-of-Argument Essay)。

在进行作文考试的时候,你所遇到的两个作文题目是GMAT考试系统从试题库中随机抽取的。 两种类型的作文试题库都有超过10个试题,就目前而言,立论作文试题库里面有163个试题,而驳论作文试题库里面有145个试题。

好消息! ETS和GMAC(负责出试题的组织)预先公布了GMAT作文的试题库,因此只要付出努力,你就可以针对GMAT作文考试进行很好的准备。

更好的消息! 在本书中有233篇针对GMAT作文真题的写作范文(你可以在第二章至第五章中找到这些范文)。同时,在第一章,我们将教给你在GMAT考试中写出高分作文的要诀。

如何根据我们提供的范文找到官方题库中相对应的题目

ETS会不时对题库中的题目进行删改或补充,这样就可能导致题库中题目序号发生变化。因此在本书第二章至第五幸的每一篇范文前面,我们都加入了一个简短的关于题目的描述(在第二章和第四幸的范文精讲部分,我们还提供了对应的题目和翻译),以此帮助你根据我们提供的范文来寻找官方题库中相对应的题目。你可以通过在题库中搜索关键词(关于题目的描述中用粗体表示的词汇或短语)找到对应的题目。关于题库的更新,请在本书的网站(www. west.net /~stewart / awa)上点击 “Updates”对应的链接。
